I would still buy it in the States because after the exchange it's 20$ cheaper. And where ever you can save 20$ I'm there.
You lose your warranty, I think. Plus it's obviously not worth it to make a special trip unless you live 2 miles from the border, so you'd have to be going there anyway. Like, say, to get a fair deal on a car... which you'd probably also lose your warranty on.
they did this because the canadian dollar is now stronger,it still doesnt equal the same but very close
