Start up on Windows 7 RC is very very fast, 15 seconds from pressing the power button to being logged in for me (quad core cpu, 4gb ram etc),
And the person saying it might just be fast because it's a new install, no, I've had mine installed for months now (and had windows 7 beta before that) and it flies along, applications and games start instantly, searchs are instant, everything speeds along with no slow down or waiting at all, no freezing, no crashes, all superb!
