2/5 is 40% though so it kinda makes sense...

They only give 1s,2s,3s,4s and 5s if I remember correctly.  A point scale on 5 points is just not the same as a point scale on 10 or 100 points.

no, but if converted 2/5 equals 4/10 and this is the same for all games. Dunno know about that 1 up score though
