They haven't yet. But it's just if it is over 22 Euro. But doesn't a game look like a dvd anyway^^

Even if they would catch me, even 19% more would still in most cases be a bargain. If they would ship from the UK, it would just make a VAT-difference of 4 %.

Ah yeah: play.com just sends one game per package, so this reduces the risk

Generally speaking yes, but the UK has some free trade areas like the channel islands and this very company is located there. Also sometimes you have to pay the 4% VAT difference, because a company like amazon sends there amazon.co.uk ordered games from Germany but with UK prices.
