What's funny about this thread is that there was a review of Killzone 2 that gave the game a 6 without really reviewing multiplayer:

The only mention of online in the entire thing was the following line:
The whole online experience for this genre is stuck in a rut and that’s not a specific criticism to Killzone 2.
They probably never even went online, and just assumed multiplayer would be just like that in every other shooter.
Other than that, the review consisted of jabs at Guerrilla's development history and direct comparisons of the game to Gears and Halo.
