SJGohan3972's mini-reviews:

Art Style: Cubello

Did I like it? Yes very nice game

I am a big fan of the Art Style series. Cubello is one of the more challenging (on endless mode after about 15-20 minutes this game becomes all about precision). Pulling off a great shot to a block almost out of site when the cube structure is about to hit the screen and getting a massive amount of points is incredibly entertaining. I would recommend this to anyone who has enjoyed another Art Style game or likes puzzle games of any kind really.

Art Style: Orbient

Did I like it? Yes, in my top 5 WW games

I am a big fan of the Art Style series. Orbient was my first, and still my favorite, Art Style game. It can be difficult and frustrating in some of the higher levels but when you get the forces of gravity and anti-gravity working just right and slide by some big planets while picking up several in a combo that results in grabbing the moon and ending the level you will love this game to... or you have no soul (just kidding, but I do love the game)

Art Style: Rotohex

Did I like it? Yes

I am a big fan of the Art Style series. Rotohex is probably my least favorite of all the Art Style games on WW, but that not really saying much because this is only third because I love the other two so much. Rotohex is a very well made puzzle game that will entertain you for hours (it did me) and has the ability to get difficult enough to still engage you after some time, but I felt it a bit lacking compared to Cubello and especially Orbient. You will like this if you like puzzlers and/or Art Style games but I doubt it will be your favorite.

Crystal Defenders R1

Did I like it? Yes, but you probably won't

I am a sucker for these crystal defense games, I'm not sure why but I've bought both for WW and the one for the iPhone. Crystal Defenders R1 is a pretty simple Tower Defense game that uses FInal Fantasy Tactics characters. Unfortunately SE took out the one thing that could have made this game really different - motion controls. I liked this but you probably won't unless you have played R2 or the iPhone version and liked them, even then I would stick with R2.

Crystal Defenders R2

Did I like it? Yes, better than R1 but you still might not like it

Crystal Defenders R2 is a little better than R1, it has more enemies, more and different characters, and power crystals - which change up the game just a little bit. If your interested in either of the Crystal Defenders games I would go with this one as it is more challenging and deep than R1 (at least a little bit). Just don't expect anything amazing because sadly both of these games are pretty mediocre.

Defend Your Castle

Did I like it? Yes, my third favorite WW game

I played Defend Your Castle (the flash game version) years ago and loved it. I snatched this version (and the iPhone version) up when it came out. The gameplay is the same (except you can play with up to four people which is very fun) and still as good as ever, and the art style has been revamped to look like it is handmade with craft materials. I for one love it and I also love the sound effects (especially the explosion of the pop cap rounds). I've had a lot of fun with this game.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King

Did I like it? Yes, but it got old

First off I must say I didn't download any of the DLC for this game so I may be missing parts that would make it fun again, but I just can't justify it. FFCC: My Life As A King is a descent RPG/SIM game that is pretty entertaining and will most likely be liked pretty well by anyone who likes FInal Fantasy games. I enjoyed it but I don't think I ever finished it.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

Did I like it? Yes, so far it's great.

I'm still playing this (not a lot of time for an RPG with the amount I'm working lately) but so far it is great. I may consider paying for the DLC for this game when it comes out and that is saying something because I have never purchased DLC for any game - ever. I loved FFIV and this is a good follow up for it, I'll hold judgement about placing it in my list of favorite WW games just yet until I finish it but so far it looks great.

Mega Man 9

Did I like it? Yes, my second favorite WW game

Mega Man 9 is amazing. I didn't think it would be possible but this game has actually supplanted Mega Man 2 as my favorite Mega Man game of all time. From the get go this game is pure 8bit hard-as-nails gaming delight and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed plowing my way through many long frustrating hours with this game.

Midnight Pool

Did I like it? No, I wouldn't recommend it

Still not sure why I got this game but a former roommate of mine bought a Wii Points card and gave it to me and asked me to download this, so I said ok (got the extra Wii points in the process at least). If you've played the pool from Wii Play you have basically played this game (except not quite as fluid). This game does have a campaign of sorts but I never really got much into it.

My Pokemon Ranch

Did I like it? Sure, but I'm not sure it's worth the price

I love Pokemon. Purchased every gen of the main games, etc. etc. So I grabbed this. It's pretty simple and I like logging on each day to see which pokemon I get, but I'm not sure its worth the Wii points I spent on it. Oh well it's spent now and I get to see if I can guess which pokemon I'll be getting when morning rolls around.

Space Invaders: Get Even

Did I like it? Not Really, but you might

I never really got into this game, I should really try to play it again but I can never bring myself to. To me to brilliance of the original space invaders was the simplistic top down shooting not the story line, which this game stresses. Unfortunately this game is my first 3D space invaders and I have to say the series did not transition well in my opinion. Given the chance again I would pass on this purchase.

World of Goo

Did I like it? You bet your sweet ass I did

My favorite WiiWare game is World of Goo, there I said it. The Art Style, the music and sound effects, the physics, the puzzles, the almost endless amount of ways to beat each level, and the weird humor of the game developers combine to make this (imo) the best game on the WiiWare service and one of the best games I have played this gen. I would recommend this game to anyone who owns a Wii (or a PC, but the WiiMote is actually better imo for this game than even a mouse) - a must have.
