viewtiful_jon's mini-reviews:

World of Goo - Got this one due to all the hype surrounding it and its very unique look, The problem is the game itself is both very short and very easy the game mechanics work really well but the most interesting thing about the game is watching your balls collapse, when it comes to actually doing what your supposed to its kinda meh and not really captivating, Definatly the worst WiiWare game I own.

Dr Mario - Got this as I played a lot as a kid, probally more than Tetris but Im just not that interested in it as much as I was back then, I know its a fantastic game as It always was and this has the online added for more replayablity but for me it is not what I need, The Virus Buster part is very sucky. A good game but not one I was really interested in.

FFCC - Played this game tons, completed the thing 3 times, I love how you can continue to use the same adventures on multiple play throughs to really build up there stats and reading the reports is fun, I did notice that the town building aspect can take a back seat when you know how to make a half decent town you can skip most days after sending out the adventurer's. I really enjoyed this game, looking back It is actually very shallow but I didn't notice so much when playing and it was addictive.

Bubble Bobble - Didn't really like the Nes original but had so much fun on this, The reson being you can submitt your high score which I got addicted to, This also made me far better at the game than I was before and learned more about how items spawned. The graphics had a good update as they still look simular but as 3D objects and they didnt try to overclutter everything with bright backgrounds and other things that can ruin a remake, Also contains 100 new levels which are up to 4 player and a few new enemies. All the Levels can be played in 4 different Difficulty modes. And also there is Super modes for both the classic 100 and new 100 levels that start with harder enemies. For 600 Points this is fantastic value

The controls on Bubble Bobble to me seem a bit better than it was on the nes, That version I found sometimes I would do the almost vertical jumps far to often, this seems to allow you to get better jumps more often, There are a few annoyances like the pits on lvl19 now trap you which I seem to remember being able to get out of before, Also I cant work out how to kill the last enemy on LVL84 of the arrange mode as he is hidden in a pit I cant seem to get in. But overall its probally the best value to playtime game I have downloaded for WiiWare so far, The Mode which records the score gives you 10 continues to complete the game in your selected mode as opposed to infinite if your not recording your score online, This is the mode I got addicted to as I really wanted a top 30 score (which I now got on the local score boards) but is akward as if you use a continue it will reset your score and not record the score unless you giveup. But that to me just added to the fun did I want to complete the game or did I want to take the new high score.

It also has downloadable contents which I haven;t got 2 sets of 50 stages which they claim are harder and seems resonably priced at 200 for each set. But with the standard / Arrange and the option to play each with the harder enemies from the start as well as 4 difficulty modes I dont see myself ever needing this extra content.

Bomberman Blast - Was unsure if I should get this as I already own 93, But when I did and saw the customisation and the new stages avalible I was glad I did, Every thing you want to change can be, Items can be burnable or not, Set revenge on or off you can even Set how many of each item will appear on each stage (Imagine tons of bombs with no extra range or any other senario) There is also some great new items to mix with old ones and some fantasitc game modes to enjoy, My fav (not including the classic) Is a mode where you all fight over a crown, If you get blasted you lose it and whoever has it at the end will win the point. No single player adventure but who cares. I recommend this even if you own another Bomberman

All in all the only one I wouldn't recommend to people is World of Goo, And FFCC only if they like the look of it due to its higher points cost and slight lack of depth.
