I think Suda is biting off more than he can chew here...
Despite Suda's internet fame and the underground popularity of his titles like "God's Hand," "Killer 7," and "No More Heroes," that is all that he is...and underground legend.
His games don't sell that well because, despite how interesting of a concept they are, they aren't made well at all.
Don't get me wrong; I believe they are good titles and I particularly LOVE No More Heroes, but even admit that there a few things "wrong" with the game that will never be accepted by HD owners and would not be solved unless you have lots and lots of money for production...
The games that are successful on HD consoles are all made by the "Big Boys" : EA, Activision, Rockstar, Bethesda, Sony, Microsoft, etc. You compare any of their games with Suda's, they will smoke him. And it is all because of the amount of money those companies are willing to spend to make a game that will satisfy the HD customers...Suda's other games didn't have to spend as much in order to make a profit and stay afloat.
I also hear that he is interested in bring the game to Natal. I say good luck...instead of being a day one purchase, I would have to take a "wait and see" approach on that one...
