Wow. Time warp, to 2007. And to think I was contemplating writing a thread on how Wii hate is subsiding.

It's not about Wii hate, it's about the whole problem on Nintendo Platform on Hardcore gaming. 3rd parties are just fine for developing their creative and casual trends on Wii but not hardcore titles. Look at the 3rd parties on both DS and Wii, they are just miserable and pathetic except casual titlez. Even the most hardcore and best selling title like GTA can't save Nintendo platform, Nintendo is just fine with Game Party(bottom 10 metacritic game) and Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009(Read Amazon Review ).

I see you drank the Kool-Aid..and continue to take sips. What exactly is "hardcore gaming"? What exactly is "casual" gaming? It seems to me that both words are adjectives to describe how a game is played, not the actually game itself. I find it funny that people attack the consumer buying habits, if a movie sucks and no one sees it, who's fault is that? If the movie is great and no one sees it who's fault is that? MGM? Lions Gate? Maybe not the best analogy but hey, what can you do?

I don't think "third parties can't sell on Nintendo platforms flies much around here anymore, though I could be wrong. At E9 o9 Nintendo continue to shout Wii Sold the most third party software of any console. They also recently said Wii has sold more software LTD than 360 LTD given its 1yr headstart. If third parties can't sell on Ninty platforms, explain the DS to me. If you know your history you'll note that much of the things being said about the Wii was said about the DS years before. And further history shows the NES was said to be a fad and killing gaming as well. So this is just par for the course. Speaking of Pars have you played Tiger 10? awesome game btw.

Metacritic is pointless. Everytime I heard EA or Ubi bring up Metacritic scores I had to roll my eyes.

Again, this has to be echoed, "third parties can't sell on Wii, Third parties can't sell on Wii" But guess who's whispering this..M$ and Sony. Third Parties are really all they've got, if they leave for Nintendo..game over.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
