I want to listen to music with earphones on the computer but all the earphones I have got really short cords so they can't go to the back of the computer but I got front inputs to plug them in, but they don't work for some reason. Did you make the computer, and if so did you connect the front panel correctly?

hmm it's funny you might say that because it is a custom computer, I bought it off of ebay.
So what exactly might not be connected properly, I'll take a peak inside to see what I see, when I know exactly what you mean.

Most motherboards have a set of pins that connect to little wires that run to the front case. If you have the motherboard manual, or you know what it is you can look up the pinouts and then plug the wires coming from the front in the correct location. Without knowing the model not much help can be provided.
