I am a HUGE fan of Kimi Raikkonen, and McLaren (too bad they parted ways, but I am a driver and team faithful no matter what), but I really hate Alonso, Kimi would have won the first champ. ALonso got if the scoring system in Formula 1 was the same as it was in the past (10 for first, only 6 for 2nd). Anyways, I was surprised that the didnt deduct driver points when it was found out that McLaren obtained documents on production from Ferrari of their new car. I think this would have something to do with the new found speed and reliability of the McLarens(that or I just would like to think it does). They were stripped of all their constructors points, but it sure does seem like the FIA wants Hamilton to win, probably good for rating since he would be the first rookie, and first black driver, to win the F1 championship EVER. Although, I do agree he was so far ahead in points that he could win it on his own, I dont see why they didnt penalize him for that incident. Makes no sense, he is still the runaway leader for the Driver's Champ!!!!

Ugh, I get so annoyed when people say this. Last year's McLaren was pretty darn reliable, and the car the year before that was pretty darned fast. McLaren has always been a very competent racing team right next to Ferrari. I just have a hard time believing McLaren's success has everything to do with the Ferrari documents. It's not like McLaren has always been a back-marker team. In fact if I remember right, McLaren did finish 3rd in 2006, so they weren't that bad. If both teams are using the same data, why is the Ferrari less reliable and slower than the copy cat?

Read next time please. I was being cynical.

I did read, and I understood that you were being cynical about McLaren's speed and reliability, and I commented on how I don't think you should be cynical. Did I misinterpret your original post?

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
