I thing what RPG is trying to say is along the lines of the following.
Say you sell a burger in inch thick wrapping that costs 5c.
Then you change the packaging to stuff that costs 2c and put the thing on a smaller bun saving i dunno...10c per burger.
If you charged $3.50 for the old burger, now you can charge $3.40 and make an extra 2c per burger.
Also, smaller units are smaller to crate up, and more can be put in a crate saving shipping costs
The list goes on...
I'm not sure if he's %100 correct though, only time will tell. After all, someone has to be paid for designing and testing the burger
