i'm reading all this comparison and debate, and it is shocking how many people just don't get either game.

halo is sort of the epitome of the classic pc shooter. it has tons of options, lots of weapons, a mp that is designed to be basically the pc gamers wet dream, and online and offline coop.

the gameplay of halo is designed to give pc shooter fans exactly what they are used to. the massive jumping, precision aiming, and strafe firing are all hallmarks of the pc shooter that halo makes use of. halo simply takes the pc shooter and crams more stuff in it than ever before.

kz2 is nothing like that. it is a hard as nails immersive shooter. putting tons of bells and whistles on it just doesn't seem in line with the theme of graphic realism. a needler would take away from that...a little bit.

when seen in their proper spheres i don't think there is any need to be a retarded fanboy about either game. depending on which style of shooter you prefer will determine what shooter you will think is better.

i was never a pc gamer, and i think realistic immersion is the most exciting and fun thing ever in shooters, so i prefer kz2.

and when people say kz2 brought no innovation to the genre, they are really just revealing their ignorance of the game and treating it like it should be a pc shooter.
