Funny, the thread title is "Who actually believes that GT series IS more popular than Halo series." Gathering from that, I believe it is safe to say this thread was created more on the speculative side of the issue. Past sales have nothing to do with the speculative popularity of Halo3 and GT5. And yes, fan base (which is substantially larger for Halo3 than GT5 as I have proven time and time again) is a huge measuring factor in popularity.
