Yes their thumbs would slip off the rounded thumbsticks of the sixaxis and their fingers would constantly be slipping off the flakey triggers that they got on it..

Wrong.
I play fighting games on my 360 and sometimes my ps2 and I like the dpad on the 360 way better. It is not perfect, but its a small price to pay for a superior controller.
