The reason is simple

There has not been a true "must buy" Wii game since Wii Fit. There have been a lot of good games -- but nothing really earth-shaking.

That is because Nintendo put a lot of games out early in the life cycle of its system and it has left this time for third parties to try to establish their niche on the system.

I expect it to bring out the heavy weapons at E3 and have more games out there that people in the holiday season.

Two other thoughts to ponder:

1. The Xbox 360 is a software selling machine.
2. Most people don't buy a lot of games for their systems. Because if the normal tie rate is 10(+/- 2) -- think about how some of our purchases must be balanced out by others who don't buy as much.

Mike from Morgantown

Doing his part to up the Wii tie ratio with 10 new games purchased this week: Shaun White; FF:CCCB; Madworld, Monster Lab; Sega Bass Fishing; Jewel Master: Cradle of Rome; Sonic Unleashed; Sonic and the Black Knight; Neopets Puzzle Master; Mushroom Men.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
