Another (potential) issue that exists with emulating DC games is that the DC ran on Windows CE. If the games would actually need part of that to be emulated... well, not happening. Otherwise, they could get the DC emulated just fine eventually if Sega really wanted to. It'd be a lot of work, but so would the Saturn's cpus.
