You have a lot of anger to work out. That said, I do agree with you that this game is far too simple to warrant more than 5 minutes worth of attention, but 90% of any games you'll find on the internet is a "cool demo" so I don't think I'm going to fault it too much.

I will say this: a lot of developers seem to think innovation alone will carry games. It won't.

Games need to be FUN, something that they can be while still being innovative, but most devs don't seem to grasp this.

Luckily, we have games like Godfather: Blackhand to really demonstrate this.

If friggin' EA, the former kings of rehashing, can pull off an original, responsive and enjoyable control scheme which uses innovation to make the game more fun, then no dev has any excuse not to do the same.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
