That doesn't mean they're dumb.
I can recompile my linux kernel in about 20-30 minutes, but that doesn't mean the general populus is dumb because they don't know what recompiling means, (or what linux is, or even what a kernel is). I'm just around computers so it seems easy for me!

yahh they are DUMB,
anyone that cant follow basic instrustions how to plug in a cable is dumb.
PS3 has instrustion for all the cables.
