According to the NPD, Skate 2 was the sixth best selling title during the January period. This made the game the third best selling title on the Xbox 360 and the second best selling title on PS3. Skate 2 sold 199,000 copies on the Xbox 360 alone, and 262,000 copies total during the month of January.

According to the NPD, Lord of the Rings: Conquest on Xbox 360 was the tenth best overall selling title during the month of January. This made it the third best selling title on the Xbox 360 during the same period. Overall, Lord of the Rings: Conquest sold 169,000 on all platforms during the January period, with the Xbox 360 version representing 113,000 of those copies sold.
