There's just one thing that folks don't understand about a suitcase nuke. Unless it's under a ton of water, you won't see a suitcase nuke ever enter this country.

As a writer, I was asking a friend of mine, who was majoring in chemistry and worked at a nuke plant, how could a person bring a nuke close to a major metro area without being detected. He said you would first have to check out the material, keep it hella cooled because it is visible - even under cover - by satellites. Basically, a semi liquid container truck with water could - *could* hide it.

For a suitcase nuke, I highly doubt it would ever happen. Ever wonder why a nuclear weapon like that has never gone off?

It's fiction - and believe you me - if a person had one, a Predator with some welcoming gifts will be headed their way.
