I remember 3D games in the arcades, one was called 'hologram' and it was full 3D ona flat semi circle table right in front of you and viewable by everyone around without the need for any 3D spectacles.
Great idea but the game was aweful but this was almost 20 years ago, so creating a 3D game is not exactly a new concept.
Only just remembered this and to my surprise it was made by SEGA.
