The races was clearly over then as it is now.
1) PS3 behind of x360 by merely 7 mln. according to VG estimates.
2) PS360 3rd party support >>> Wii support.
3) PS3 is STILL most expensive console.
4) PS3 is YET to get BIG BRAND guns like FFXIII, GT5, KZ2. This year BIG BRAND games was only MGS4, which helped to sell A LOT PS3.
5) PS3 STILL get 3rd party Japan support.
You people are delusional haters, which expect PS3 at 199$ sell less then Wii. Which BELIEVE, that AA games don`t matter to gamers.

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.
Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
