Microsoft Announces HOMEless REDMOND, Wash. — April 1, 2007 — Microsoft announced today the unveiling of a first-of-its-kind 2D offline user community service for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system. The service, known as “HOMEless,†will enable Xbox Live Gold members to create their own 8-bit avatar and explore a virtual community of Xbox Live Silver users. HOMEless is a laggy online 2D community available in Xbox Live. It allows Xbox Live Gold members to get into Xbox Live Silver users’ systems and take full control of their gaming experience.
