You won't even try Linux, with all of the features and performance/security/usability improvements? That is why Microsoft still rakes in the money for obsolete and restrictive technology.

I've tried Linux and I've programmed in Unix and I must say that I beyond much happier with Windows.

And in general, I hate the Linux dorks that constantly try to get you to switch.  Really.  You're about as annoying as Mac lovers and PS3 owners telling you that the PS3 is the best and will win everything.  I've tried Linux, I hated it with a passion, and it makes no sense for me to use.  Sure, you can give me a long laundry list of great things about it but you failed to mention any of the bad things.  The worst of them: it's not stable when you're running user made things that only have 2/3 of the features of MS Office or whatever product they're recreating and nothing is nearly as stable when you're running it on a Windows emulator because you can't get it to run on Linux.

So yeah, I'll stick with XP.  It's perfectly stable and runs everything.
