Proud (current) user of Kubuntu, Mac OS X and Windows XP Pro.
When I first got my Macbook it was because my homebuilt desktop died two days before i had a huge paper due, and I needed a new computer to rewrite it quickly and didn't have time to troubleshoot my desktop (which has since been fixed).
That said, these days I find myself on my Linuxbox more than my Mac/XP box. After getting used to all three, I ended up liking KDE the best out of *any* of the window managers, and find myself barely touching my MBP unless I need to be portable for some reason).
And honestly, Ubuntu is *very* easy to use. Install Automatix for DVD support, and its very very nice.
Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.
