Considering that there are more households in the 'Others', the PS2 had great sales in the region, and the launch appears to have been a decent start, I think Sony may be able to keep a little more of this momentum than the other territories and will reach 1M by the end of April. Since I am not familiar with the release dates of Japanese games, I cannot give an educated guess for Japan. But I'm assuming it will be after the Others territory and guestimate it will hit the 1M mark in Japan by late May.
Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.
