I think the question is relative to where you live. Im not sure what it is like in Venezuela but if you can answer the following, it will give me a better ideal.
1. How much are the consoles out there?
2. Can/do you rent games out there?
3. What is the region coding?
4. Do you care for blueray at this time?
If the price discrepancy between consoles is roughly the same as in the US, games are for rent and you have American region coding in Venezuela, then I would say Xbox360. It will save you a lot of money in the long run. Otherwise PS3 because it is region free and its more popular outside the American market. Im just saying this because money seems to be a concern for you if you arent even willing to get internet service.
