people say that because it isn't as graphically impressive as the PS3/360. People think the graphics have to be as good as the 360 or PS3 or people view them as past gen graphics. They don't even notice that some Wii games highly outdo the best gamecube games. If the graphics are better than the past gen then it is next gen graphics.
