Why is it looking very promising? Ive seen nothing to differentiate it from other RTS's on Consoles besides a horrible sales boost strategy of tacking the Halo name on it. I dont know many frat boys that will put down the FPS and play an RTS. But thats maybe just me.
On topic, while there will be alot of RTS's I have yet to see an RTS on a console that was better than mediocre. They are just still a PC genre, the controls are typically just too demanding for a controller. So all the Console based ones for me are a wait and see proposition.
As for the PC, there are alot of RTS's, but the PC hasnt really been a massive presence in the circles that determine the "Year of" catagories. Im sure it'll just be the Year of The Shooter like the last 2 years. :-/
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.
