I have split feelings on this. Partly I think it is cool, as people can make whatever they want now. But I really think it is stupid because Sony is already losing money in the gaming division, why throw away a source of income, even if it only brings in $1m/week.
Will removing this licensing fee really bring in that much extra $ from PS2 hardware sales?
