...from the old SCPH-77000 series, of course.

The new North American SCPH-90001 PS2 (built-in power supply, and a little smaller than the old SCPH-77001 slimline) looks to come in both silver and black -- and the black one is bundled with Batman Lego for $149.99.

Seems like the old white Singstar SCPH-77001 bundles are being cleared to make room, as well.  I saw them discounted from $115-$119 USD at several different retail outlets today.

I know I'm biased, since I adore my own PS2, but $150 for a Batman PS2 bundle seems like a heckuva better holiday gift f or a kid than a $250 Wii bundle with WiiSports.  Nice bundle move by Sony... and nice work with the new version of the PS2... even sleeker than before (hard to really notice until you compare them side-by-side, but I like it anyway).. very cool.

Frankly I'm very surprised that Nintendo has not come up with a different Wii bundle for the Holidays, since presumably their target audience may very well be, temporarily, younger.
