1. Fable is now an established franchise from a legendary designer, with a built in audience. LBP is a new franchise that few people have had a chance to try, thus initial wariness is justified

2. Fable is an RPG and RPG's make up a sizable niche of console gaming. LBP is a 2D platformer, which in today's market is a very small niche.

3. The 360's audience is still substanially larger than the PS3s.

4. Sony's base has been built around the "anti-kiddie" image. LBP's image is anathema to much of that base.

Are you sure you arent confusing Sony with Microsoft? Because I would think the console most asscociated with Shooters like Halo and Call of Duty and Gears of War is a little more anti-kiddy than the one with a major kid-esque title (ratchet and clank).

Plus I have yet to hear racial slurs and be called a f*g on PSN. :P

I would stay to argue you, but Ive seen your opinions on the PS3 and it would be pointless.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
