I actuly think that your posting in this thread is really good, and pointing on some areas that I haven't thought of but here is something that I don't understand... Continue to dominating as the second system... Well at least in Japan Wii is the first consol, might be seen as the second system to DS. USA is also seeing good sales in both hardware and software, and is for the moment selling more than Xbox360 and PS3. EU is also going strong for the moment. I actuly think that one of the reasons the 3rd party support will be better for Wii than GC is the higher sales which actuly indicates that it might be the dominating system for this gen! But back to the sales number: I think that when you pointed out that 500k was needed to break even. This might actuly mean that the xbox360 and ps3 might become were much alike expect some few exclusivs. (PS3 is in real shit if this is true, I mean no 3rd parties is even close in USA, and the sales in Japan is not that good either). This I think can actuly means that Wii will become the dominating plattform because if offers something totally different than the other two players. Wii might lose some games like CoD or Need for speed, but mayby they will get more exclusive games from small devs that can't afford devloping for PS3.
