This has been said before, but since you obviously did a lot of work, I won't flame you, or own you in any way. This topic largely gets a Zenfoldor pass:

Thanks for not flaming me, lol! I really apreciate it...

However, let me just comment on a few things. First let me say that FFXIII is being developed exclusively for the PS3 right now, and then will be ported over. It's good that great games like this go multiplat, even if it does piss you off. You bought your console on the assumption that FF would be exclusive, and buying a PS3 was the only way to play it. That was your assumption. If Sony endorsed it, you should be mad at them, not Microsoft. It doesn't matter if Microsoft paid or not, if they did, it should make you more pissed as Sony for not matching their offer. There is no evidence that they paid, however.

Actually it was SE who continued to promise that to me, not Sony(sony would never do that to me, lolz XD). And the moneyhatting bothers me just as it should everyone, becuz there can be no good in a world where games are not made exclusive or multiplat becuz it can better a game but rather so one company can cock flail the other. Which is exactly what Microsoft is doing. I kno it prob is not intentional but, why was none of this said when 360 was getting all those exclusives to themselves? This kind of remark is only made once Sony looses an exclusive.

The HD consoles aren't selling as well as they should be. Therefore, many 3rd party games will go multiplat. This is good for gamers, even you. You'll get more games for your PS3. The game doesn't magically turn from good to bad when it gets a 360 port. That's just your fanboyism making you think that. Fanboys will always like exclusives more than multiplats. They have to hype them up, so they can justify their console purchase, and entice others.

The reason why ppl like me stress exclusivity so much is that excusives push the envelope. That is just something a multiplat CANNOT do becuz the developers are pressured to make them "identical"(which SE said the two will be at E3)so not to anger either side, even though this is exactly what has been happening with developers on PS3s side. Yea, SE tried to change their statement at the last minute and say the PS3 version is unphased but it already is. Its release is being pushed back AND the game is not as good as it COULD have been(this I kno cuz to attempt to make a game using full potential of a system renders porting impossible, MGS4 anyone?)

As far as those "full specs of the PS3" that's a talking point, always has been. There is virtually no discernable difference between the HD consoles graphics, never has been, never will be. That was a myth perpetrated by Sony, that less knowledgable gamers still cling to. The PS3 isn't gonna magically unlock itself one day. Last wave PS3 games aren't gonna magically destroy last wave 360 games. The consoles have very similar graphics. Only a fanboy would disagree with that. Also, Blu-Ray isn't really needed for gaming, it's a marketing tool. Acting like changing discs is an issue is again, a faux complaint. LO has 4 discs, and changing them took me about 30 seconds, for a 40 hour game. It was alright with FFVII, it's alright now. Pretending that it makes a large difference is again, fanboyism.

Graphics are not everything and was not the point I was trying to make. There are other aspects in the background that simply make a game better than just graphics. The two HD systems graphics are comparable, yes, but not the same. PS3 has that edge however minimal it might actually be. PPl keep downplaying BluRay as if it does not matter. In that case Why doesn't DVD look as good as BD? It is becuz the less compression, the sharper the image, as well as internal architecture of the system.BD is 50GB compared to 9GB DVD which leaves plent of room to set uncompressed animation on. But like I said, graphics are not everything. There is also the cell. It is something one cannot understand unless they play a game as great as MGS4 which utilizes it. You see how it makes the game run smooth and silky. How the graphics are seamless and beautiful. The cell is used in the most powerful supercomputer in the WORLD right now, that says it right there.

I'm simply stating my opinions here, nothing more. A more thorough commentary will not be forthcoming, because again, you've worked hard. Examine things a little more carefully, when you make a large post like this and you won't fall under scrutiany. I'm afraid you might see some trolling on this topic.

Thinks again for addressing a sensible post and not being a troll about it but I still do not agree with your points. I have responded accordingly to each of them in this post.

EDIT:

Forgot about ur bluray theory. Yes LO was indeed 4 discs long. But what if their was an RPG on PS3 such as LO or FF that could fill 1,2,3 BD discs? The potential to be GREAT is there. That is something the 360 cannot copy. There is simply NO WAY the 360 could port a game that used even 2 bluRay discs. And making a game multiple discs is not easy. If a game has an overworld map and stuff if that cant fit in the 9GB than the whole game is SCREEWED. just thought i would add that
