You might say they don't have to know, but if they talk about how it's a poor substitute for playing outside, they should be consistent.

Basically, when the lady was doing leg lifts, I would have mentioned that they were leg lifts, instead of showing my ignorance of what she is doing. Then I would have said something like, "Wii Fit makes a perfect exercise machine, which means it will look great in the back of your closet with all the other ones you never use."

And when the guy is doing push ups, which the script doesn't even seem to notice, I would have said, "And look. You can do push ups with Wii Fit, something that was never possible before!"

heh, agreed. They could have made it so much more.

It's like watching someone play Halo and saying "Thumb twiddling, the fantastic new game from Microsoft. All the excitement of twiddling your thumbs"
