The recent NPD's datas just go against many other claims. So who are we to believe ? NPD figures (which are partly speculations since they don't have the real numbers for some retailers) ? VGCharts, that is suposed to have NPD based figures, but don't have the same ? Sony, Nintendo and MS ? Because while they don't give the exact numbers of units SOLD, their claims about shipping is usually quite accrutae. However, the gap between units shipped and sold (especially in Wii's case), is way to big. The retailers ? Gameshop claims +12% in sales (and apparently, they're not gaining market share over competitors which also had a great christmas) while NPD only get a +6.
