the-magicbox.com says http://www.the-magicbox.com/gaming.htm Square Enix has registered a new patent in US for Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII, which is a previously unannounced title, and it seems to be a part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII group project.

So ... Which platform do you think this is for?

Well if its not a PS3 based title, its more an likely either a cell phone title or possibly a DS game. It could possibly be a 360 or Wii title but I find either platform, particularly the former, to be an unlikely choice.

Well... The Nintendo DS already has Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Fūketsu no Grimoire The PSP already has Final Fantasy Tactics Shishi Sensō, Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core ... The fact that it has a subtitle makes me think that it is not Final Fantasy 13 for the PS3 and it seems unlikely that they would release it to the PS3. Ultimately I see two options, either they plan to release this to one of the portables (which already seem to have a ton of Final Fantasy games) or they could release it for the Wii or XBox 360 ...

It is part of the trilogy planned for ps3 , square enix always said that . The other two being FFxiii and versus so i guess the new one would finish the trilogy off . Then again i might be wrong lol .

The trilogy is FFXIII, VS XIII, and FF Agito XIII (for mobile phones). So this last one Haeresis might be a spin off for 360/Wii... we will know soon i guess.
