http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/home-entertainment/breaking-ps3-triples-folding-at-homes-computing-power-to-over-500-tflopspflops-in-spitting-range-246664.php On average, between the superfast and superslow PCs, 159,033 PCs are only doing about half that much. (151 TFLOPS). Essentially, 13,000 PS3s have just made the Folding at Home Project the fastest distributed computing project on the planet, ever. (I believe it used to be SETI @ Home, which was something like 280 TFLOPS.) This also means the PS3 met Stanford professor Vijay Pande's expected one-month goal in one day. (We'll update this post with confirmation once Dr. Pande gets back to us.) To my astonishment, I discovered that a small legion of 13,000 PS3s running the Folding at Home app account for most of the computing power in the project, amounting to about 56 percent (PS3s = 316 measured TFLOPS) of the total.

Ok this proves it. You are definately washimul. You're writing style is the same and threads like this are identical. C'mon man you got banned once for being an ass. Don't make the same mistakes. Plus Cell is a really nice architecture, yet, it won't make the PS3 this all powerfull super system. I garuantee that the best looking games this gen will be on the 360 soley because the 360 will get more devs optimizing games on that system and porting to ps3 as the gap between the userbase's continues to rise in 360's favor. NA's February sales will be mirror in EU. Only Japan will still have PS3 higher than 360, yet Wii will have 80% of that market.

it reminds me of the analogy of drinking a cup of water from a 2 liter bottle. unless u need it, having bigger capacity and faster speed doesn't mean anything

Currently loving my Wii x2, Xbox 360 Pro & Xbox 360 Arcade, and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Limited "Cloud Black" 160GB PS3

GAMEFLY & GOOZEX FTW

we would be seeing the NPD of MARCH. In Europe x360 wont even come near ps3. Yes the Wii could for sure. We would soon see whose userbase rises? I can also guarantee that the best looking games would all be on the ps3. However we would soon find out in a couple of months from NOW.

You're both wrong, the best games of this gen will be on PC And yeah, you're either washamule being a bit toned down or his long lost twin.

As I said before, due to this launch March is going to be the only month PS3 beats the Wii in worldwide sales. For 360 vs ps3, 360 will again have a the same lead on ps3 overall when you compare the sales in NA and Japan. This one single month ps3 will beat out 360 for EU. April and on will be same as NA. Thus, worldwide 360 will continue to have a gradual rising gap between the two. NDP will have nothing for you as that will be similar to February in the Americas. The only significant jump will be in EU. NA's 360 is selling about 100,000 more than ps3 every month and Japan ps3 is only selling about 30,000 more on average. So, in order for the ps3 to really start gaining on the 360 EU must help them a lot. PS3 would have to outsell 360 every month on average by 100,000 or more. March cannot be included as that is a launch time. April on will be the test.

in JAPAN ps3 outsells x360 by 20k per week..........sometime 30k--40k PER WEEK. http://www.vgcharts.org/japconscomps.php?name1=X360&name2=PS3&type=0&align=0 in all you have ps3 outselling x360 by 100k per month in JAPAN. last week 23k : 3k the week before that 33k: 3k GUNDAM LAUNCH WEEK 44k : 3k In japan ps3 costs 550 $ and x360 250$ with the 65nm chip +exclusion of EE ..a price drop in JAPAN should raise the ps3 sales to 100k per week. in MARCH the difference in US wont be that great....ps3 might well outsell x360 in NA . With MOTORSTORM and OBLIVION this is very likely.

I didn't even read the post. I don't care about "TEH POWER OF CELL~!!!!!!! OMGZ0R!!!!" I just HATE when someone who is being banned (twice) keeps coming here and Doesn't cool down a bit and he is (once again) against the forum rules. Any mod out there? Can't someone just give this guy an ip-ban? my eyes got tired of all those caps and !!!!!!!!!! PS: at The last post washimul says that with a price drop the PS3 can sell 100k units in Japan in a single week, and i just wanted to laugh... hahahaha.
