What's baffling me the most is that DMeisterJ still doesn't own a PS3, despite MGS4 being released. Even more surprising, he went out to buy a Wii in the week MGS4 was released. I have suspected for a long time that he is a Wii60 fan who tries to make Sony fans look bad on this website. Just think of all the information we have about him and put the pieces together.

The thought had occured to me.  He could be some sort of subtle "Rock-on."  I've got to hand it too him if thats what he's doing, because he is a persistant deceiver.

I'm not asking when they will be here, so any "can't you wait" type remarks, get stuffed I'm not asking that.

How did I imply defending PS3?  PS3 may not even need defending.

I just didn't see the reason into bringing "Damage control for Sony" into the  thread and the numbers aren't even in yet.

And PS3 sales haven't dipped (much) and exclusives are always being lost.

What has changed is the amount of Sony hate on the forums. 

Seems like when a certain company has a few good weeks, and a marginal E3, somehow the tide of the console wars have changed.

Also, I have no idea how I defended PS3 in this thread.

I'd say thats very much a pre-emptive form of offensive defense.  Wouldn't you?

Though I acknowledge the truth of the bolded statement.  It is possible that there was a cataclysmic breakdown in VGC's data collaboration for the month just gone.

I defended after you attacked.

I didn't say anything until you bought Sony into the thread. 

I only defended cuz you started it.

And you know yours wasn't banter, and that you also attacked me.

And the sarcastic comment at the end isn't neccessary.  I'm not saying anything negative about VGC's numbers.

That was a 3 month over-reaction by Fishyjoe, back when the VG$ system was different. I appreciate the flamebait though, and the provocation.

You're probably right that sony-spin will occur when the numbers don't coincide with VGC numbers.

On the other hand: VGC-spin is also VERY VERY likely once someone even dares question any number that VGC posts (because of course... they can't be wrong)...

But which is the worst kind of spin?  I guess people will always question numbers from all sources.  Accepting that VGC's software numbers are not spot on, if you don't have a reasonable level of faith in the site's hardware numbers, why post here?
