Activision, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all share an equal number of titles in the bottom 11-25 range., and Nintendo holds the highest total. Guess vbdevpro was wrong there as well.

Here are the top 10 best-selling Wii games for May 2007:


  1. Mario Party 8
  2. Wii Play
  3. Super Paper Mario
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  5. Spider-Man 3
  6. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
  7. Warioware: Smooth Moves
  8. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
  9. Shrek the Third
  10. Cooking Mama: Cook Off

Of these 10 titles, Wii Play is the only original title that isn't a sequel or based on an existing property.

The overall top 20 best-selling games across all platforms in May 2007 are:

It was a great month for Activision with six titles in the top 20. Electronic Arts, the number one game publisher in the world, only had one title with Command & Conquer 3.

You may be wondering what this Everyone Game Bundle is for the PS2. In fact, we are wondering that, as well. The bundle doesn't seem to exist on the internet, but gamers still bought over 60,000 copies of the software. Are any of you readers one of these 60,000?"

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)
