Not to be rude, but what a strange comparison!

The scenario, more directly stated is: "will the 360 sell 16,545 units before the DS sells 553,317 units (that's more than 33 times more units)".

I apologize in advance for noting this, but this comparison struck me as odd.

well, if you asked who would sell 2k more units first, i would bet the DS already achieved that in under 4 hours. The DS is currently selling 46x the rate of the X360. I agree that it is a slightly strange comparison, but it makes more sense than comparing what i just posted.

1. 360 - I really believe that Trusty Bell will be alot more popular then most people are predicting.
2. DS
3. Wii - If it wasn't for suplly constrant I would put it at #1.
4. PS3

Well, my reason for that is because if I was to say which of these four will see 200k units first? It's a no brainer the DS will sell any given amount of systems before the other three.

Its more of like "will the DS be outsold by the combined might of all 3 next-gen consoles"?

You mean "what has happened first," not "which will happen first."

1. Argument is in the past: "Has>Will."
2. Typing error: "What>Which."

Now I understand. Those are Japanese sales figures, and not World-Wide sales figures. That should have been mentioned in the first post.

Where else does the 360 only sell 2.5k a week? Besides maybe my metropolitan area?
