Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Interesting things on Zelda you may not of noticed

When I play a game I tend to search every pointless detail, so usually I find out little random pointless things that some may find interesting,

Here's a few,

*I noticed that there is a mirror in Links house in the basement next to the chest, I can't really think of anywhere else at this time you can see your reflection with such great detail.

*I also noticed that when Link hangs from a cliff, sometimes the cliff dips in angles up or down, and if you move link Left or Right in accordance to the cliff he will shift his hands accordingly to the angle of the cliff getting higher or lower (hard to explain) but most games would have the hands just dip into the ground or not move if there was an angle change.

*Here's my favourite, this is hard to explian, but in some games if you are running in the opposite direction to the camera and want to adjust the camera back behind you to continue running in that direction, you'd usually have to shift the joystick to match the way you are running, However in TP you can change the angle and keep running in that direction without changing the joystick, so Link will be running Left if your holding right, for example, extremly handy if you don't want to stop for that Milli-second to adjust the angle and joystick at the same time, feels weird to do, but definitly a nice feature many might not even know existed.

*Another cool thing is, well you may of noticed you can not climb things whilst holding a chicken, but if you want to reach the highest areas with your chicken, what many don't know is you can use your hookshot to bring chickens to you, I don't really know what purpose this can serve as of yet but it's pretty cool if you wanna fly around your home town from the highest heights.

*This one here is a glitch, pick up a pumpkin from your home town and you break off the roots from it, but the shadow when your holiding it however thinks otherwise.

I've only done 3 dungeons so far so I'll probably pick up some more random thingmabobs later.

Nice observing ... I noticed some but i'll try the others out, definitely!

Btw: Do u like the game so far?!

My time was 38.57 hours first time.

2nd time was about 18 hours (I wanted to do it really fast )

3th time was about 60 hours (Wanted to do EVERYTHING when it was possible... So after EVERY dungeon... I went out there and went on a journey to discover stuff)

-Total harts: 17 in best game.

Grtz... StarcraftManiac.

THE NETHERLANDS

Im on 42 hours so far, and I'm on my way to the desert dungeon (4th one).

I take my time to do absolutely everything.

I love the game so far, minus the amount of rupee chests, that really is weird and annoying.

did you notice when you swing the wiimote, when link has a sword,it swings the sword? its nuuuuuts!....

Do you means harts as in hearts? Cause if you haven't found all of those, try asking the fortune teller for clues.

Here's my favourite: when you open the big stone door in the dungeon for the first time, the dust will fall down around the door. But when you open the same door for the second time, there's no dust at all. Nice detail, isn't it?

Don't forget this was a GameCube game, too. New Zelda for the Wii is going to be much better.

I beat it at about 68 hours myself. :)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

The desert dungeon is fantastic. The boss battle is actually puzzling and a good challenge, plus you get "the spinner" which is awesome.
