Internet forums are on fire with people saying that BOTH the 360 and PS3 versions of GTA are freezing. Cruizing the forums, both 360 and PS3 versions seem to be having severe problems on SOME consoles (most are probably fine). Rockstar has yet to comment on the issues.
360 Users are complaining of random lockups, requiring some users to delete their saved games and start over, run a 'maintenance mode' on the 360 to clear the cache. Some are not able to get the game to work even after restarting, clearing the cache, deleting the saved game, etc.
PS3 users seem to be having issues mainly on the earlier 60GB models, so the problem may not be as widespread. Most are complaining that the game freezes during an early cutscene at the office. Some people seem to be having major issues even after exchanging the game & reinstalling.
Are there any VGC users that have experienced major bugs, glitches, etc? This could be a huge problem for Rockstar if they don't get the issue resolved quickly.
