Updated until now.

Dante is the most expected character right now, followed by Travis Touchdown, Sora and, interestingly enough, Kratos. A Pokemon is actually the most expected, but that vote is divided between many different ones - though mostly Gen 8 characters.

One joke character as a pre-order bonus I take it?

The five from the pack will be;
Marin from The Legend of Zelda
Professor Layton from his own series (I will be right someday)
Dante from Devil May Cry
Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog
Bomberman from his own series

And the pre-order one;
Dr. Wright from the Nintendo versions of SimCity

I think you are imagining the wrong Kratos. I had Lloyd/Kratos to make it more clear they're from the same game (Tales of Symphonia).

Didn't play that game, so the only Kratos that came to my mind was the one from God of War. So if anybody else meant another Kratos, please let me know so I can edit it.

My predictions:

1) Paper Mario characters (Mario is one and other classic Paper characters would be other skins).

2) Goku. Fighterz and Xenoverse 2 were on Switch, and those are actual well received quality games, not movie tag along titles.

3) A snipperclips. Would be hilarious like Piranha Plant and Wario lol.

4) Doomguy. They have done a lot of effort to show support this gen.

5) The Witcher.

6) Robot Reggie. I'm not joking. Make a legit character with laser eye powers and body slams. Voiced by Reggie himself. People in the USA would flip like nothing since Banjo announced as a character.
