edit: kind of boring list but I think most of those 3. party fighters are unfitting, I wish only characters get added which have a long history with nintendo and still part of modern nintendo games. cloud should only be added if switch gets a remaster, joker only if older persona and persona 5 is ported. even if those chars are presented in other games, still feels unfitting.

edit2: fixed for 6 fighters, it's more of a wishlist.

There are 6 Spots this time around, so you can choose yet another character. Or pick 2 Pokemon, if you prefer.

Go ahead. At this point all the obvious characters are already in anyway. Even the likes of Dante and Sora are not certain, making it hard to predict who is next.

Good catch, didn't think about Fire trainer before. Considering the success of the game, that might be a good call.

Yeah, it's kind of a cross-promotion thing. Using Smash to advertise a current fire emblem character seems to have done 3 houses some good. (If Amazon hourly charts are anything to go by.) If Nintendo wants to give 1 of its IP's a shot in the arm, getting Smash representation seems to be a good way. If they want to push RFA in a few months time and I think they do, Smash would be a perfect way to keep it in the publics' perception.

What I would like.

Lloyd Irving or Cress Albane - Tales of and just another one for Bamco, feel they deserve more than just one as developers of the game.

Jack Frost - Megami Tensei

Travis Touchdown - No More Heroes

Commander Video, Cuphead, Frisk, Shantae or Hollow Knight - Indies

Ring Fit avatar or ARMS character - Nintendo IP from the Switch rep.

Rayman or Rabbid Peach - Ubisoft rep.

And if there was the chance of another Capcom representative, I would like it to be Phoenix Wright before Dante.

Sorry if it isn't exactly 6, but where else would I type all of this :P

What is going to happen.

5 characters from games Sakurai likes and whatever the Pokemon Company wants from Gen 8.
