But it isn't local co-op is it? You can't have 2 players using VR at once on the same PS4 as far as I know.

No, it's local cause we have 2 ps4s :) Not on the same system nope. The only local co-op you have is the other player playing on tv. Very few games support that. I doubt next gen will support multiple headsets on one ps5.

Yes I have played some great local co-op on PSVR. Well it was one game (Playroom VR) but many minigames on it.

I don't think even PS6 would have 2 or more headsets being processed in a single console.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

PS4 = 10/10 , PS2 = 10/10
Wonderful and legendary Games :)
And the best is coming in the next months ^^

It's alright.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I'd have to agree. Every iteration of PS has offered a ton of fun in a myriad of forms, and there's some nostalgia involved as well, but the PS4 just does it all bigger and better. More power, more new IPs, more great stories, more multiplats, more indies. And my TV has been getting bigger and bigger over the years as well. Just glorious.

It's one of the better consoles for sure w/gems such as HZD and Nier Automata (albeit, a console exclusive only for a while), but still Sony's weakest home console - to no fault of their own, since their first party studios are doing just fine.

It's the lack of the mid-tier games and experimentation that ruins it for me - the PS3 had a lot more of those. The significantly reduced amount of JRPG's as well as the focus on cinematic games doesn't help either.

great system no doubt its got all the games but for me it would have to be the ps3 as my fave of all time

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Yea it's my favorite console as well.

I think the Nintendo Switch has the best idea for a console but IMO their first party games are just not up to the level that Sony is producing right now. I've never been a huge fan of Mario type games. Also I used to think trophies and achievements were dumb and pointless but since having them on 360 I've realized just how great they are. They push me to further play games beyond the point I normally would just to try and get all the trophies (for some games). Just this weekend I platinumed Spiderman and was doing things in that game I would have never bothered with if it wasn't for trophies. It's just a nice system to get a little more out of your games.

It’s easily my least used and least favorite Sony console. I got burned out after SegaCD/32x and 3DO and Sony actually got me back into gaming on PSone with games like Twisted Metal and GT. I used my PSone so much I ended up going through three of them. PS2 has SOCOM.

Last gen Sony was getting beat by the Wii worldwide and the 360 in the US and as a result they made a lot of games trying to build a strong library and make the PS3 more enticing. That got us games like Infamous, Motorstorm, Resistance, Killzone 2, Uncharted, etc.

They essentially won this gen before it even started with the horrible Xbone reveal and WiiU existence and to me they’ve dropped the ball in the games department mightily. Nothing creatively that approaches last gen. Way less games. Way more relying on multiplats to sell their system. Tbh idk how any fan of Sony the last two couple gens can be happy with their game output this gen, it’s been barren. And some might say quality over quantity but in the past they’ve had both.

Wow. There's too much crap to isolate with bold. It's close to a full flush. You have the "to me" shield though. Relying on multiplats? This is literally, indisputably, the golden age of PS exclusives. And again, the whole post....there's so much to work with. I'll be back. In an hour. A day. Whatever. There are shitposts, and there are SHITPOSTS. If I take a ban for this, I'll be back shortly, to gently, effortlessly, fuck you into oblivion.

no real point, you're not going to change his opinion, less effort/stress to just ignore rather than flame/feed this potential fire for attention. Some people just see what they want to see and yeah, 6000+ posts of the same replies with feigned "lol, I find it funny you're upset" answers to people, it's not going to change with post 6001 or 7001, no point getting irate will just end in you being moderated for shouting abuse.

I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion but... when you have such differing views on the system and its games, no good will come of having a blow out over it I think. Keep in mind when it comes to games, some people who absolutely love the Microsoft selection of first party in Gears/Forza/Halo see the X1 as the best place for first party offerings because that system delivers those games consistently rather than the ps4 which while it pumps out tons of different titles... say if you loved Horizon Zero Dawn, there is just 1 title of that franchise on the PS4 or in existence, but if you really enjoyed Gears you get the remaster of 1, then 4 and 5 all on the X1 so you kinda get a more limited set of games, but more of those games if you enjoy them. Sometimes you just gotta chill and enjoy the fact that we don't all like the same stuff, would get boring if we did!
