Honest question, why do you have two? And, if the Lite was available when you bought the second, would you have saved the $100 and gotten the Lite instead?

but being able to pirate any switch game became so addictive that now i can't stop

Only software and tv series :D

No. Theres literally zero reasons for me to get one.

Not until I have a reason for it. If Animal Crossing's online coop is better than it's local one, that will be my reason. Until that happens or something else I don't really need the second one as my wife hardly plays Switch and when she does its couch coop with me.

At $200, it's very tempting but I like the TV functionality.

If it was dockable I'd buy it for sure. I still don't own a Switch and I when I get one I don't plan to use those godawful joycons anyway. The portable only aspect is a dealbreaker for me.

Switch has a larger display... So that automagically discounts the Lite for me.

Waiting on a Switch TV to be honest that rids the Switch of everything that makes it mobile, then I'll jump onto the platform.

Well, enjoy your time elsewhere cuz you won't see the light of the day where that's happening ...

People said there wouldn't be a mobile-only Switch... Oh look. The Switch Lite happened.

Except the Switch Lite and it's only handheld functionality is obviously done to bank on the huge populace who are into gaming on the go (Like mostly Japan) and another part who just want something more affordable than the standard model.

Accept it, your desire is niche in a market (home console only) where it hasn't benifited Nintendo in a long time.

I'll say it again, just buy the thing, put it in the dock forever and there you go, you got your home console.

At the end of the day, you don't run Nintendo, thus the idea that a Switch TV is never going to happen could be highly erroneous, neither of us knows what is in Nintendo's development pipeline, I am merely stating my needs/wants/desires.

People said that a mobile-only Switch that throws away everything that "Switches" was never going to happen... As it would undermine the entire point of the Switch as a brand... And well... It happened. - Whatever argument you use to justify why it happened is pretty much redundant at that point, I ended up being right in my original prediction.

As for buying the Switch, it's my cash, my hard work, thus I will buy the product I want, not the product I am told to buy, that applies to any tech... If a company doesn't offer me what I want, then they miss out on my cash, bad luck to them.
For example... I usually buy the Samsung Galaxy Note every couple of years, but I am skipping the Note 10 because it lacks a headphone jack.

Not at first but i probably will in a couple years when my two older kids are ready for an upgrade from their 2DSs then pass those down to their two younger siblings.
