Patriots 2 66.67%

Steelers 1 33.33%

Total:3

Mahomes goes down. How serious is it?

So, I haven't watched any Broncos' games this season but....is their O-line always this garbage?

Yes. Even when they won the Super Bowl four or five years ago it was terrible and it hasn’t gotten any better. They drafted Bolles a couple seasons ago, he’s a strong run blocker but struggles bad against speed rushers and constantly holds. They drafted Risner this past draft and so far he looks like a solid guard. The rest of the line is average at best and mostly mediocre in pass blocking. McGovern is a good run blocking center.

Hurting their pass blocking is Lindsay who is a very small back and a weak blocker. They need to spend in FA on better linemen if any hit FA and continue spending high picks on it. But yeah this is what it’s been like to watch Broncos football for years now. The line is absolutely brutal.

Supposedly a dislocated kneecap. Rumors could be wrong, but they did apparently pop his knee back into place on the field.

4-6 week injury for most people unless there is ligament damage.

Mahomes will be out three weeks they are more then likely lose two out of the next three games without him and they will probably loose another game with him so 11-5 is probably the best the Chiefs can finish.

Here are the converted responses for Week 7. Everyone else submitted on either the 9th or 10th (Wednesday or Thursday of that week). According to Google, anyway, your response was submitted on October 13th (Sunday), at 9:47 Eastern, well beyond what any time zone discrepancy could explain if you submitted them on Thursday.

That's week 6, so get your facts straight. The timestamp you have is correct because I changed my pick for SEA@CLE on Sunday and your spreadsheet gives me a point for that game. Likewise, my initial submission on Thursday of that week was also registered, so your sheet gives me a point for my NE pick. Your sheet tallies up my score for week 6 to 8, but your table for week 6 gives me only 7 points.

I take it, you have a manual process to put the scores from the spreadsheet into a table and you looked at the wrong line for my week 6 score. You owe me a correct pick in the standings.

Not quite sure what you're referring to when you say "sheet."

If it's the sheet I linked in my latest post, that was exclusively for week 6. These are the results that are automatically generated by Google at the end of every week. The only difference is I tell Google to translate teams to 1 or 0 depending on whether they won the game or not (e.g. replace all instances of Patriots with 1, and Giants with 0). I use a simple sum formula to get the total correct number of predictions and order them into a table. I then go through and check for edits or late entries that would otherwise indicate a late prediction or an attempt to cheat, and make adjustments accordingly (hence why your score is 8 on the sheet I linked, and 7 on the scoreboard).

There was no wrong line here. This all entirely centers around whether you got your NYG/NE prediction in on time (where the difference of 1 game comes in). When you edit your predictions, it should not only update the timestamp, but also show up like this, with little markers on the top right of the box, that say "responder has updated this value" when hovered over. There's been a couple of edited predictions so far this season that have all returned the same way. Yours does not, and instead simply updates the timestamp.

I'm willing to believe you and just chalk it up to Google being wonky, because, quite honestly, if anyone cares enough to cheat on an online sports prediction league, then whatever. I'll probably just ask people to post edits in here, and remove changing picks on the sheets if Google's being inconsistent for whatever reason.

Not the prettiest win for my 49ers. Considering who they were playing, it should'v'e been a much blowout. There are plenty of areas that they need to improve and work on, especially for next week against the Panthers. But a win is a win. Still undefeated.

Philly really needs to stop fucking guaranteeing wins over Dallas lol.

It's shocking how much more prepared the Saints were for this NFL season than almost every other team. Making Teddy Bridgewater the highest paid backup and Michael Thomas the highest paid receiver look like acts of genius. And they still have Drew Brees to come back, who even though the media like to pretend it never happened, was rated the best QB in the top 100 coming into this season.

On the Raiders v Packers game, I feel like we got as good a picture as we're ever gonna get on Derek Carr. Neither team's defense was really stepping up to stop anything, and the game turned into a straight-up QB duel with Rodgers looking a clear class above Carr by every metric, and he didn't even have to scramble or perform magic out of the pocket to do it. Meanwhile Carr blew several promising drives with innacurate throws or moments of stupidity.
Seems like a good guy, but just not a franchise QB in my eyes. Not unless you're gonna have a Bears level defense for several seasons.

My takeaway from the Jets v Patriots is that Daniel Jones was pretty great in hindsight

It's a good thing I don't bet money on sports, I'm clearly terrible at picking games lol
