Well, I imagine they'll look more like they did in Advent Children. They looked like D's, as opposed to DDD's.

Indeed, it's never really mentioned on in game, just they are called Biggs, Wedge and Jessie. And no truer words on the latter but I wonder if it's more Nomura than SquEnix. His own ambition seems to high. He wasn't the director of FF7, just the designer, sure his designs were iconic in the end but you look at KH series and it's overly convoluted story and numerous delays and FF15 (or FFvs13 as it was) turned out.

With another director, or lead, we might already have this game and not in 3 parts.

It's not Nomura's fault. 13 was having problems in development, so they took most of the vs13 staff and moved them over to 13 to finish it up. And I'm pretty sure Nomura was consulting on different projects. Officially, he was split directing KH3 and vs13, then was moved off the now 15 to start directing 7R. SE was spreading him too thin and using his team to finish other projects.

FFXV battle system is pretty bad and if it's anything like that I will surely be disappointed. Would've gladly used a turn based style.
Also graphics during gameplay are clearly a step back from FFXV. Very impressive for a remake, but Capcom did it a little better with RE2. Well game's not out yet, so they could still improve them.

I'm with you on that! I tried, I tried SO HARD to get myself to enjoy FFXV I just couldn't. It bored me to death. The characters, the setting, and especially the weak combat. I hate the hillbilly mood and music a lot of the time. Cindy also creates that hillbilly atmosphere. I just do not like this game at all. Good thing I found it on Kijiji for half the price upon release.

As for FFVII, I can't lie. It looks phenomenal in this trailer. But then I heard the acting when Aerith gives Cloud the flower and was like, ughhh. Won't be able to really feel for the characters if they feel like they don't care. 

Cloud and Aerith look absolutely amazing though it also looks like it will not play like FFXV at least. To me, anyway. I think they were able to create something action-packed but still under a ATB-like style. Here's to hoping! We se that Barret was playable.

Note: I just can't get over how generic Biggs sounded hahaha. It's like this voice actor ain't even trying....

The characters looks really good! Cloud and the Girl, beautiful.

I want the old fighting system, like Final Fantasy 7 (PS1), Dragon Quest 11 (PS4) and Persona 5 (PS4). But such a big project like the FF7 remake is supported, of course.

Unpopular opinion: I wouldn't mind if they inserted Advent Children and added gameplay to it, in the last episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake, as long as it works.

They would have to make the advent storyline a lot more interesting... which I guess they could do as they would have more than a couple hours to develop it... but I think the ffvii story is pretty complete without it.  If they wanted to make another game based on the events of advent I guess that could work... should have done that in the first place...

Yeah, I would like if they could flesh out what they did in Advent Children.

I know that Advent Children kind of changed the seemingly tragic ending from the original game but now that Advent Children is out I cannot dismiss that story and forget about that story so Square might as well just make add it to the game and make the AC better.
